After spending more than 5 hours on getting the Lenovo SL500 to work with the Belkin High Speed Docking station, I had to abort mission because the only way I could get the secondary monitor to display anything was to downgrade the video drivers for the laptop. However, once this was done, I needed to upgrade the drivers for the laptops monitor.
This caused a huge circle of pain and I had to give up for the clients sake. So I have listed the scenarios below that I have tried and hope that you can supply me with any assistance. 1) Use the CD that came with the pack for installation. Insert CD, Install Software, Connect all peripherals to the device, then insert the Express card while on option A.
Installation completes and all usable apart from the monitor. 2) Uninstall and start again. Same process but with Option B selected on the card. 3) Uninstall and tried completing a manual install. As soon as the Dock is installed, the display adapters show a message indicating that the VGA controller is too old for Windows XP.
Video Drivers are NVidia 9300GS version 10.11.0.7598 4) Found in the manual to try and download different video drivers. I have now tried all of these options with both the Nvidia and the Intel drivers. Still not working.

But the laptop screen would not show anything. Checked the Device manager and found that the drivers for the laptop screen had become uninstalled.
Went through the process of about 4 restarts and several driver installs to find that the latest drivers were needed to start the laptop monitor. And you guessed it. The blasted thing went back to not being able to send signals through the Belkin. So Any ideas??? Cheers Sniff.
